My pursuit for RESTORED energy, mental focus, increased endurance and muscle strength led me to discover the role of hormonal decline in men and women. Not only are classic symptoms of hormonal decline frequent complaints at the doctor’s office — a few obvious ones include hot flashes & night sweats for women, sexual performance for men — but some not necessarily associated with hormonal decline are more often than not defaulted to a diagnosis of, “You eat too much”, “You don’t exercise enough”, “You’re depressed”, “You’re just getting older”. I knew those answers couldn’t be universal, but why were so many of my patients, and now, myself, struggling with making it through each day?
Optimal hormonal balance is often the missing link. For both men and women it can be the key to energy, mental focus and clarity, moods, muscle maintenance and strength, sexual energy and function. And that’s all great, but there’s more! With optimal hormone balance the body’s metabolism works to decrease visceral fat (that’s the fat inside the abdominal cavity and stored around the midsection), and with the decrease in visceral fat, the risk of heart disease, diabetes, and cancer are dramatically reduced. With hormonal balance the neuronal pathways in the brain are protected and there is a 50- 70% risk reduction from Alzheimer’s disease!
So, if hormonal balance is so great, why is it not universally accepted and dispensed by the medical community? What I found out was there is a dramatic difference in benefit versus risk when it comes to the general category of HORMONES. I chose benefit rather than risk. I chose….
